Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC, the leading manufacturer of the distinctive London black taxi, has today announced the appointment of Sheung Yue Gui and Siu Lun Lawrence Ang as non-executive directors. They will be joining the board of Manganese Bronze with effect from 25 September 2007.

Mr Gui is Chief Executive Officer of Geely Automobile Holdings Limited, Manganese’s joint venture partner in Shanghai and 22.8% shareholder. Mr Ang is, in addition to being an executive director of Geely, a non-executive director of Wang Sing International Holdings Group Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Chief Executive of Manganese, John Russell, said: 'The combined background and experience of Mr Gui and Mr Ang will be real assets to Manganese’.

There are no further matters required to be disclosed by paragraph 9.6.13 of The Listing Rules.
