Interest In Shares

Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC advises that it received notification on 14 September 2006 from BriTel Fund Trustees Limited that it and its subsidiaries have an interest in 800,000 of the Company’s ordinary shares through the Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund, representing 4.2% of the issued share capital.

Separate notifications were also received on 15 September from the Essex County Council Pension Fund and Devon County Council that they also have an interest in the same 800,000 ordinary shares by virtue of their being limited partners in the Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund.
