Interest in Shares

13th January 2006

Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC ("the Company") advises that it received notification on 11 January 2006 from Deutsche Bank AG that it and its subsidiary companies have an interest in 751,000 of the Company's ordinaryshares, representing 3.95% of the issued share capital.

The Company also received notification on 13 January 2006 from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Group Limited on behalf of Allianz Cornhill Insurance plc that following a disposal of 595,000 shares, Allianz CornhillInsurance plc, Allianz AG and its subsidiaries no longer have a disclosable interest in the Company's shares.

The Company further received notification on 13 January 2006 from M&G Investment Management Limited that Prudential plc and certain of its subsidiary companies have an interest in 600,000 of the Company's ordinaryshares, representing 3.15% of the issued share capital.
